Toshio Shibata

As the picture above is a picture of a bridge on the Okawa Village in Japan. The picture was taken by the Japanese photographer Toshio Shibata, a photographer that focuses on landscapes and the architecture made by humans. All of Tobio Shibata's photos illustrate a beautiful scenery of what human architecture truly is, showing a beautiful aspect of bridges, dams, and roads. I'm going to be writing about Tobio Shibata's work and the influence that he has done that inspired me.

The picture above, like I said, is a bridge near the Okawa Village in Japan. The photo overall is beautiful because it gives a different perspective of architecture and the bridge. This photo presents good composition, with great lighting that makes the color red stand out and the angle being perfect for showing off the lines. This sort of landscape stands out; color and structure make architecture great, and this sort of landscape is what I enjoy.

Tobio Shibata has shown an overall unique perspective on human creations. I see many human creations such as bridges as a threat to the environment, but Toshio Shibata has shown the great beauty of these sorts of landscapes. As a person who enjoys taking landscape photos, Tobio Shibata has opened my eyes to the architecture aspect and took more perspectives on human creations and nature.
